Kurtköy is undergoing a serious change with rapidly advancing housing construction. The fact that the technopark will come together with the function undertaken by the airport shows that the need of the region will increase not only in terms of housing but also in terms of offices. In addition, we observe the absence of a region or building group that will provide the center function. When the land was first presented to us by the investor, we explained that it has a location that can bring the central function to the region when it is handled together with its location and with a qualified design. The simplicity, serenity and importance given to green, which we created in the architectural form setup, have been determined as a significant design element in the region. In this sense, the project is designed as a building that is expected to play a symbolic role in the Kurtköy region.

With the rapid change in computer and communication technologies, the idea of centralization disappears. When the transition from the service society to the information society is carefully examined, it is noteworthy that the ways of doing business and office spaces are changing rapidly. Offices where knowledge and thought, which is considered the most valuable thing in information societies, are produced; There should be places where people can work efficiently and can provide home comfort. While offices were previously likened to factories producing energy, today they have become information producing structures. Alternative workplaces brought to business life by flexible working styles  ‘homeoffice’ They constitute a prominent place for the present and future of the business world. Another advantage of the use of Homeoffice for the consumer is that there are common areas. Social facilities such as common meeting rooms, restaurants and cafes, fitness room, health club, archive and warehouse areas that can be used by appointment increase the interest in the homeoffice function. In this project, it offers all the facilities that can be found in an office with the comfort of home. The building has been planned with a flexible interior understanding to provide office and residential functions. At the same time, the spaces facing the façade are handled with a divisible setup.

Rising on a total of 14,400 m² of land, Arma Business is in a position that can be strongly perceived from both directions of vehicle traffic due to its proximity to the main road. It has also been partially retracted to increase the perceptibility of the mass from the intersection and to relieve the intersection point. Another factor that will create an advantage for the land is that it has a sloped structure. There is a level difference between the facades of the land, and therefore, a basement floor that is open to common use and receives daylight has been built to be used as a social area. This floor, which was gained by making use of the slope, was accessed from the road level. In addition, thanks to the slope, landscaping and elevation arrangements are made in the inner courtyard, providing integrity with the social floor and directly accessing the inner courtyard from here. On the 2nd basement floor, the closed parking lot has been solved. The negative effect of the high voltage line passing through the land has been turned into an advantage in the design, and the building connected to each other on the ground has been perceived as two separate masses.

The design has been approached with decisions that will ensure that all users in the building, which includes daylight in office areas, have a panoramic view angle at the maximum level. Transparency and simplicity are kept in the foreground by using mainly glass on the façade. The glass surfaces supported by the horizontal and vertical elements of the sunshade are almost clinging to the white colored masses on the top and side. In order to emphasize the symbolism, contrasts were created on the façade. While verticality is emphasized on the lower floors, which are designed on a more horizontal scale, horizontality is emphasized on the upper floors. Transparent and massive surfaces are used in the building to strengthen the architectural form. Composition elements that theorize the balance between vertical and horizontal contribute to the symbolism of the building and make it stand out from the others. Transparent tinted green color is used on glass surfaces. White color is preferred for solid surfaces and facade elements.

The gallery created on the lower three floors is directed towards the recreational areas created entirely outdoors. In order to strengthen the continuity with the landscape, the green areas were drawn into the building and supported by floor gardens.

The designed 3-storey high gallery connects the lobby with the other parts of the building, while creating a rich interior environment. Thanks to the fact that the floor halls on the upper floors are supported by floor gardens and galleries and overlook the inner garden, the apartment owners reach their apartments by passing through the fully illuminated halls that see the inner garden.
